Beyond our leadership team

Winsome Care Ltd employs support workers and senior support workers who are the heart of our service. Every member of our team is recruited through a robust safer recruitment process that meets the requirements of Schedule 3 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014. This includes enhanced DBS checks with barring list checks, verification of identity and qualifications, a full employment history from age 16, values-based interviewing, and a structured induction aligned with the Care Certificate.

All staff receive comprehensive mandatory and specialist training covering safeguarding, health and safety, moving and handling, infection prevention, medication administration, the Mental Capacity Act, equality and diversity, the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism, and service-specific training relevant to the needs of the people they support.
